Rally Throwdown October 6th to Benefit America’s VetDogs

Lomita Obedience Training Club proudly presents the 3rd Annual “RALLY THROWDOWN” benefiting America’s VetDogs on October 6th at Highridge Park in Rolling Hills Estates.

  • Gather up your Rally friends and put together a team of 3 dogs for a Rally Team Event.  Novice signs only will be used but RA & RE dogs will be off leash.

  • Possible score is 300 with time running continuously.

  • Get sponsorship for your team.  All sponsorship monies goes directly to America’s VetDogs, a non-profit organization that provides service dogs to veterans that need them.

  • Up your chances to win by being on several different teams.  Team costumes are encouraged but not required.  There will be a costume contest with prizes.

  • Entries open July 1st and close September 21st.  Entry fee is $75 per team.

AKC Judges’ Obedience & Rally Seminar March 1&2, 2014

SCDOC will be presenting an AKC Judges’ Seminar on March 1 & 2, 2014 at the Elks Lodge in Whittier, CA.  Although this seminar is required for AKC judges, anyone is welcome to attend.  THIS IS THE ONLY SEMINAR SCHEDULED IN CALIFORNIA AT THIS TIME, SO REGISTER EARLY!

Although the holidays are approaching there are plenty of  dog events in November & December to help you get ready for next year.

November 17 – Intro to Tracking seminar with Vita Allison

December 7, 8 & 9 – VHOC will be holding a Show N Go on Dec 7 and their annual Agility, Obed & Rally Trials on Dec 8 & 9 at Woodley Park.

December 7, 8 & 9 -  Shoreline Dog Club will be holding their all-breed shows (obed & rally on Friday) in Costa Mesa.

December 15 – VHOC will be holding an Introduction to  Treibball seminar in Canoga Park.

January 2, 3, 4 & 5- The 2013 show season starts with the Desert Empire Terrier, Toy Dog Breeders, Sand to Sea Non-Sporting Dog Assoc Specialties & Kennel Club of Palm Springs shows in Indio.
